Me. It did nothing for me. Everyone is different though. Ceftin was like taking candy, doxy was no where near as good as mino and I backslid on it. Good Luck

I've just started the ceftin and doxy today. Taking for a few weeks then off for few weeks and start again. Supposed to do this three times and hopefully most of my symptoms will be gone. I hope so because I haven't responded to much else. Had great results when I was put on Bactrim and Biaxin years ago but after 6-8 months I plateaued and nothing else has helped me improve. Really hoping the ceftin and doxy picks up where the biaxin and bactrim left off.

How long were you on the ceftin/doxy before you noticed improvements?

By month 4 I was 80% By month 8 I was 95% (ceftin, doxy, plaquenil)

I have a hard time following the diet. I am a foodaholic. I do follow it to a certain extent-cut out most wheat and sugar. I can't exercise cause I'm in a wheelchair and can't use my legs. I was hoping the ceftin/doxy would help me enough so I would get back some of the use of my legs. I would love to be able to do some exercising even if it's limited.

I will be starting Ceftin, Doxy, Plaquenil, and Rifampin in a few days. Actually, adding in Ceftin after a week or so.
My herxes are brutal, so I am trying to take a deep breath before I start the combo.
