My poor hubby had major surgery 2 weeks ago. He had a bronchial infection and was coughing like crazy. It increased the bleeding of his hemmoroids. He finally blew them out...like his whole rectum prolapsed.
Went in to the PCP..he took one look and said "you need a surgeon". Ta-dah. Next day he gets half his rectum cut out, they were that bad. So he comes home from the hospital and still has some infection from the bronchial thing and the coughing was hurting his butt.
So I told him about oil of oregano. He started it 4 days ago. Yesterday he got flu-like symptoms, his blood pressure rose 10 points and he was achy. He took less than the dosing on the bottle. His BP is normal now, he backed down his dose to about 1-3 drops 3 times a day.
It's funny though, he's starting to use our lingo; he says he's "herxing" and is actually fascinated about the folks who pass worms from it! At least now he's drinking more water and who knows, maybe he'll pass a worm or two!
Just thought I'd share the info and get some input on other experiences with oil of oregano.

He may be doing better because it is a strong antifungal , and sinus/ bronchial infections can be fungal.

I have a suggestion to ease the coughing from the bronchitis. Look into a dry salt inhaler.
You can buy salt inhalers at Amazon.com and at eBay.com. There are several brands, they should all work fine. If you order the Cisca pipe from UK, shipping will take about two weeks. Ebay is alot faster.
Several people here who bought one told me how much it helped their asthma. I bought one several years ago because I always get bronchitis during the winter.

I've been thinking of trying oil of oregano.
I read a post on another board where a lyme patient got much better on it.
From what I read online, it is one of the most powerful natural antibiotics/antifungals/antivirals.

Yes, I know a lady who had chronic Lyme who is now functioning very well after a few months on the oil of oregano protocol. She swears by it. She actually found small worms in her urine. Yes, the worms were passed in her urine and lots of them!
I'm giving hubby the suggestions here. Wonderful input.
