- nonna,
we may not be able to do much about what is outside but we can start with our own space. Then, maybe in either informal conversations or at neighborhood meetings, you can just gently bring up this article.
It usually works best to just mention the article (maybe even give them the link) and let them read it right from the source, rather than hear if from someone they know. -

What do you all think of the new infection he mentioned, he labelled it with letters and #'s that he said most people with lyme also have.... that was unnerving for me.

FL1953 was the original reference for a novel new organism now called Protomyxozoa rheumatica that Dr. Fry and his team have observed in patients with a wide range of chronic diseases.
Protomyxozoa rheumatica is a biofilm-forming protozoan with characteristics similar to Babesia and malaria. A blog post on this new organism can be found here:
Since we know there are numerous things to consider that travel with lyme and some of those we can't test (due to lack of funds, lack of tests) . . . I find some comfort in an overall approach in various herbal supplements.
Allicin is just one thing that might help cover all the bases. This is where an ILADS-educated LL ND (naturopathic doctor) can help. -

- FL 1953 (also called by some here: Fry bug) has been discussed in some past threads. To find those:

I know of a Doc who treats the Fry Bug with Botanifuge (anti-parasitic product)
So like most have preached on here for awhile there is a definite parasitic angle to the Lyme Disease complex.
