Hi - I posted last week about my son, he was bitten by a tick on Friday (well, that's when we removed it anyway), he got on amoxicillin right away, but today he's come down with a fever, sore throat and headache. Might be the flu (though he did get shots, and it's getting late in the season for that) but of course I'm wondering about co-infections that might not be getting treated with the abx we're using.
Do the various co-infections cause early symptoms like this?
Thank you.

Is the flu going around school? Call the school nurse to find out. And bring him to the doc and request the rapid flu test.
