Mine too registered high before I had my lyme diagnosis. After many years of treatment, it is back in normal range. So my guess is that yes, there is some connection.

I too have a RA factor that is high...I was told that I was at risk of getting it, but this is also by the rhumetologist that told me I didn't have lyme cause she was afraid to treat me.
There is no RA in my family and the arthritis they found in my knee was degenerative ....
I have always had a high RA, was sick for many years, and just diagnosed last October. I will see if it changes as I get treated..I bet it will.

My guess is that lyme has the ability to trigger autoimmune issues so I can see the correlation.

i have back pain, but most of my pain feels neurological to me. I haven't had mine tested since I started treatment. I would be curious to know if it has gone down.
