My doctor told me my results point to difficulty eliminating Lyme and Mold toxins. I asked him if it is the "dreaded" genotype and he said no.
This all confuses me so much. So if I have the ones that make it difficult to detox lyme and mold are there different levels to that? Like could someone else that also has difficulty detoxing lyme or mold either have it worse or not as bad as me?

I am confused too, but the way someone explained it to me is if you have one of the HLADR4 genes, you will have to work a lot harder and longer to get well. If you have both of them, you can pretty much forget it. I was told there are two of these genes. I have no idea if that is correct or not, since the person who told me was a patient, not an LLMD, but she got the info from her LLMD.
I can't afford testing, but an acupuncturist once told me my whole problem is that my metabolism is so slow I can't eliminate toxins. I don't know if that might mean I have the genes, or if it means I need more thyroid meds.
confused too, klutzo
