My sinuses have been pretty stuffed for a while and it makes air hunger worse.

I already do sinus cleanses. Should I take mucinex or something?

They feel stuffed pretty deep.

Should I visit an ENT?

I swear by Mucinex. When I start feeliing that sinus pressure in my face or head I take Mucinex.

I am having my typical allergy/sinus stuff and take daily antihistamine (sometimes oral and sometimes nasal spray), tiny dose of sudafed and Mucinex.

If you decide to try it be sure to hydrate because it can dehydrate you pretty fast.

If you think you have an actual sinus infection then you should of course see your ENT...

ALot of the meds we take for lyme are the same ones you take for a sinus infection.

My LD recommends NAC for sinus congestion.

I feel for you...sinus stuff is just miserable. I have had 3 sinus surgeries for polyps so far. I am hoping that the new anti yeast diet will prevent me from needing another.

Mucinex never did much for me. Nasal sprays were OK. Cranial sacral therapy worked well with antibiotics to start to move things in my head. That was before I knew I had Lyme

I do saline rinses too.

Do you think you have a sinus infection? If so I would say a dr. visit is warranted before it gets worse for you. I think sinus issues make the cognitive stuff and energy level much worse.

Feel better soon

Diflucan for a couple months cleared up my sinus issues completely and I dodged the surgery issue (thankfully).

Not once did my ENT even think that it could be fungal in nature - my LLMD is the one who put me on it, and after a month, the ENT couldn't get over the change. I went from surgery candidate to having normal sinuses. I just take a zyrtec daily to address mold allergies and make sure I tackle yeast at the first sign.

But if you have signs of an infection (pressure behind eyes when leaning over, shadow under eyes or low grade fever), by all means see your ENT. An actual sinus infection is nothing to mess with.
