we just got back test results for hsv1/2, hiv, & someothers (all negative) so what are these from if not viral. I think it was yeast after Iv treatments, continuing diflucan & garlic, grapefruit seed & others for detoxing- JUST awful what we deal with!

- Sea Buckthorn oil - from Mountain Rose herbs (best price I could find for top quality oil) has helped my mouth ulcers where nothing else could.
Avoid regular toothpastes (with SLS, etc.).
I can't read your post, as hard as I try, due to the action of the icon - so I'm rolling down screen to reply. I may not have answered your question but wanted to be sure you had the SBO detail.
Hope he finds relief. -

If you go to earth clinic you can look up apthous ulcers or canker sores . They can be caused by more thean one thing . I usedto have terrible problems with them . I started taking extra folic acid and acidophilus and almost NEVER have them . Make sure there is plenty of VIT B in his diet, and then give him a spoon of yogurt at night before bed with a probiotic capsule . They are extremely painful and my lymph nodes would swell and cause fatigue . The probiotic and folic acid worked . Poor gut bacteria or folic acid deficiency can cause them . I was taking a multi vitamin , but that did not give me enough VIT B or Folic acid to prevent them .
Earth clinic is a good place to look up things like that .
Another place is alternative medicine .
Taking the probiotic at bedtime insures your child will not eat for several hours , and allows the bacteria to multiply as he sleeps . You might check Target as they have lots of chewable vitamins and supplements .

Annxyzz has some good points about vitamins. Deficiencies can cause many problems.
One thing that has proven useful to heal oral ulcers is LED light therapy. I have used the SOTA LightWorks to heal sores that way, and use it all the time on any sore or broken skin.
There is a peer-reviewed study about healing mouth sores in children getting chemotherapy. The astronauts and soldiers use this mode of healing. Someday every household will have one of these gadgets, like people have thermometers or heating pads.

I researched, then starting taking extra folate and B-12 and rarely have them now. Sublingual form is best.
