Okay. So I was on A-bab, samento and alinia and was having profound fatigue. To the point where I had a hard time getting anything done at all. I can't have that with a three month old in the house so I called my doc.

Was told to stop above things and up my detox.
Did that starting on Saturday.

Woke up today with SEVERE lower back pain. I couldn't move so I called my chiro thinking I had done something while at work yesterday.

My chiro...who is also lyme literate tells me I'm having a lyme flare. I tell him I'm off abx at this point and had to stop my A-bab b/c of the fatigue.

Anyway...he does his thing. Tells me my lymph system was all backed up too but that he fixed that and that I may experience a lot of drainage from my nose.

That was 2 hours ago and now all of a sudden I feel flu-like and my brain fog...which I haven't had in over almost a year is back.

WTH!!! Now I'm not sure what I should do. LLMD is not in office until Monday and if I do call again I feel like a bother. I do have an appt on July 30th.

I plan on taking my detox bath tonight and continuing the pekana products, lemon water, dry brushing etc.....

What do you all think is going on?

My brain is a mess right now so I hope this all makes sense.

Well, don't discount the very real exhaustion of having a 3 month old (Congratulations!)

I hope you have some help/can get some for a little while?

If I were you, I probably would continue on the detox angle, your Penka, lots of probiotics, milk thistle, a bath-your other tricks you may use,

and see if you can get some relief for some good deep sleep.
Hopefully you will feel better in a few days-
Then look to going back slowly...

Hang in there---

When I treat Babesia my lymphatic system gets all stuffed up and I feel hot, sweaty fluish. It's sounds like a herx to me.

When I am having a major herx I get severe lower back pain right in the SI joint. This also happened to me when I went for accupuncture.

It seemed like to me it was all of the toxins being moved. It took awhile to get better. When it happens I either need to back off my meds for awhile which you have already done and up the detox.

I had stopped my abx on Sun due to an upcoming vacation knowing I would most likely be in pain if I continued. Well needless to say 3 days after stopping them I was still in severe pain anyway.

Sometimes it seems like it takes a long time for toxins to clear. I know for me unfortunately accupunture, massage and chiropractic make me feel worse.

Try to hang in there!

TY all!

My SI joint is what is/was killing me. It really was awful pain. It has improved a bit. I had an injury there several years ago and it flares up at time.

All this time, I thought it was because of my work. Maybe it's been related to lyme flares all along? Or a little bit of both.

Jamers...did you have episodes of suddenly feeling hot all over when treating babs? That's another thing that has been happening. All of the sudden, I'll get very hot. My body will feel like rubber and I'll feel like I can't breath.

It doesn't last very long but it is the strangest feeling
