Just wondering how you guys detox, to get the neurotoxins out. I'm tired of these symptoms, the brain fog coming and going. I won't see the Doc for a month, so need to do something in the meantime.

I don't have access to any Cholestyramine or a sauna right now.

Is there anything that works, truly, to get these toxins out? HELP!

I don't feel safe doing a heavy metal detox on my own. Will wait for Doc.

Rather than an "event" here is great detail about how consistent liver support & and key nutrients help the body to better metabolize / process / eliminate toxins:

LIVER SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Daily coffee enemas have been a life saver for me. I use the disposable bags so it makes it easy and clean.

Also chlorella (taken about 20-30 minutes before meals). This is a wonderful supplement because it not only binds the toxins, but it is also a superfood. I can't take it because I am sensitive to sulphur. But it's a great supp.

Also, bentonite clay, microsilica, charcoal.

It would be best to work with a doctor that does muscle testing to see what works best for your body.

Good luck.

Thank you Tammy. I, too am sensitive to sulfur and did not know it's in chlorella. Good to know since I was thinking about getting some! I will have to get up the nerve to try the coffee thing.. It's part of my upcoming protocol on the BED diet, so I'm sure it helps so the toxins can have somewhere to get instead of getting reabsorbed into the colon.

Keebler, THANK YOU. I will check into it. Thank you very much for your input!

Hi. These are some basics, maybe they'll help you. Most others have more sophisticated plans, but I find these to be helpful:

Lemon water
Exercise
Epsom Salt/Peroxide/Oil of oregano bath
Fresh juiced organic veggies/fruit
Kombucha Tea
Sauna (as you mentioned)
Yoga

Turkey Rhubarb has been pretty wonderful in helping the colon let go of trash, so to speak. And it has nutrients so will not deplete. Best in a balanced formula (with a little sarsaparilla, etc.).

Is there a way to "like" these posts? [Wink] Thanks so much. I'd much rather go the herbal root anyday. Chinese herbs is not something I'm familiar with, but good to know. Is there a way to save these posts?
