I had a blood test for AM Cortisol and mine was really high. What causes this? Is there anything I can take to correct this? I have been gaining weight like crazy too..is this caused by the coritsol?
Anyone else have this?

I don't know anything about this but read it on another forum. Lactium.
Hope you get some answers.

I had the same thing. My well-known LLMD told me to take Licorice Plus, Adrenal Complex, LDN, and Adapten-All.
I have noticed drastic changes in my energy level most days. I used to sleep all day and all night, but now I have trouble taking naps. I still have days here and there where I sleep all day, but they have been greatly reduced.
Best of luck!

High cortisol can cause weight gain.
Sometimes, there is a tumor either on the adrenal gland or in the pituitary gland, that is causing the hyper-secretion of cortisol.
Removal of the tumor is the primary treatment if a tumor is the cause.
Make sure you see an Endocrinologist who is familiar with these types of tumors. Most Endocrinologists don't know much about them, and only typically know about Diabetes...
