hi, i'm leaving for india today and took my first malarone yesterday - had the worst lower back and hip pain later in the day - i mean i have it almost all the time, but it was much worse yesterday with no apparent reason for it - hadn't gone to the gym or walked far etc. - the only other thing i'd done was take zyflamend for the first time
do you think either the malarone or the zyflamend could have evoked this response? or do i just chalk it up a mystery....

unfortunately, they recommend taking it before and continue for a week after you leave....

Have a great time. Take photos for us. My husband lived in India, went to Woodstock school there. When he told one of my docs (an Indian) he wanted to take me there he replied "No Way!!! With her lousy immune system she would never survive it!" We were disappointed but accepted the reality.
soooo... Take some photos for us and have fun!

I loved my time there. I was already sick but undiagnosed and traveled freely through the country for a month.
I was careful with the fruit and veggies, but I found the chai irresistible and often ordered it.
Thankfully, I never got sick the whole time I was there, and I savored every minute of it.
Safe travels, Dan; enjoy your trip!

There must be some natural supplements you could take to protect your gut, etc.
Maybe even curcumin. It would also help with pain... but don't take too much if you're taking Zyflamend. I think it's contained in that product but in small amounts.
