Bactrim is least likely to cause c diff, its a low offender for c diff and I have taken it without issus since my c diff. Also taken a z pack without problems...lots of probiotics.

I have had C diff now for 2 months. I got it from treating a serious sinus infection with various antibiotics for 10 months. (It was MRSA plus 2 other serious infections.)
The docs have told me that antibiotics squirted up the nose are less likely to cause C diff as compared to antibiotics taken orally.
So, see an ENT and they will order antibiotics that you use either in a nebulizer or in an atomizer.
Then, be sure you are taking lots of good probiotics and Florastor and drinking kefir. Also, suggest the anti-yeast diet.
I got the C diff when the ENT got frustrated and prescribed a very, very high dose of Augmentin for me--oral. It was 4,000 mg per day.
I got the C diff after that. Prior to that, I was on mostly antibiotics that I breathed in or squirted into my nose with an atomizer.

Use Florastor, a good probiotic. Expensive, but will help ward off Cdiff.
