Had an appointment this am with my doctor who now wants me to switch up the zithro with factive. I have taken both of these meds before but never at the same time. Anyone have experience with these 2 together.
I haven't had any progress in the past 3 months so he felt it was time to try another combo. The zithro was killing my stomach so I really had to quit that. Thanks

I did take them together at one point. Found the combo very helpful, especially Factive. My doc said that Factive was helpful for Lyme and Bartonella symptoms.
Hang in there because Rifampin may be difficult at first (seems to be for many of us) but it will be worth while if you stick with it.
Good luck to you.
When a med combo is not working any longer, it is time to change to something better!

Factive has been very useful for me with lyme and Bartonella . but be careful with factive, pay attention to any tendon pain. it can rupture the tendons. i been pulsing my meds with no problems .
