Hey all-
Been a while since I have posted on LN.
Anyway, I relapsed again and have had some success with Ivermectin (Stromectol) but only did a 3 day course @ 12mg a day.
It was not covered by ins. and apparently never is?
My CVS wants 5$ a pill approx, so I was hoping some people had an alternative source. (I cant afford 20$ a day if it's going to be a long term pulsed therapy etc)
Please share. Thanks!
Derek

Hi djf,
Quite a few people here are buying their Ivermectin from a pet supply store for minimal cost.
Nefferdun is one and sparkle7 is another poster you might want to contact about where to buy and dosages. Have you considered herbal antiparasitics and or salt/c?

I get mine from a compounding pharmacy. It was around $100 for the month at 4 pills a day.
If you have a prescription and would like the info, pm me and I would be happy to give you the name.

Don't know what kind of lousy insurance you have, but I'm sure there are plenty of lousy companies/plans out there, unfortunately. I wouldn't say "never". My insurance has covered it every time so far.
