Canefan taked about his improvements with Zhang's HH for his Bart. I started taking them 3 weeks ago and my Bart symptoms seem to diminish for about 5 to 6 hours. They return if I do not take them again. So I was very impressed with the results but to soon to tell long term. I have not tried the others but am thinking about adding the Artemisia capsules.
I am also going to test a liposomal version at home and see if I can boost absorbtion and save some money.
All the Best, MattH

- I've known several who have. One I met in person, a couple others read on line of their success.
When I did the protocol in its entirety, not just this and that (though I did add some things now and then to suit my needs and received acupunture), I did exceedingly better for the few months I could budget this - two different points in time. Exceedingly better.
I have no doubt that, had I been able to continue, I would have seen continued levels of success.
It is very reasonably priced, considering all it takes to arrange, manage and monitor all phases of this, growing, paying fair prices, quality control, study, etc.
I also attended a workshop where there was one other person with lyme who was 90% better and steady for some time -- and also dozens of others doing very well on a similar protocol for hepatitis.
However, the lecture was designed for the hepatitis patients and they altered it to include lyme for myself and another attendee. We learned a lot about the liver that day and the others learned about lyme. Win. Win.
Of course, each person is different and it's best to consider this under the guidance of a LL ND for individualized care.

- When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL (lyme literate) doctor who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present.
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc. (Be aware that those in this category can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first.)
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches.
