Hi everyone...The past few days or so I am just so weak I can barely function. It is so frustrating. I understand that -being on the Rocephin and the Tindamax-that this could be a herx going on but still..I am really just lacking in all energy. Also my vertigo is miserably bad lately and that also drains me.

I have enough energy to do some editing work, cuddle with my wonderful and amazingly patient fiance and do a few errands but even that is difficult. It is an exhaustion like I have never felt. And it is scaring the hell out of me.

I am afraid that the meds are going to just make me worse and not help me improve further. This is just so miserable. I just want to feel ALIVE again, but since I have been on these meds I just feel like a zombie. Any ideas as to what to do? Do I push through or ask the dr to reduce the dose of the meds? Thanks in advance for any responses. Jess.

You're on some heavy-hitter meds, so this is likely a herx.

What are you doing for detox?

Might be good to skip a dose, or reduce the dose, for a day or two to let your body catch up with the toxins being released...

Hi Razzle-for detox, just taking Alka seltzer gold and some supplements that my LLMD recommended.

Yeah I am just not sure how to proceed....I might reduce the dose for a day and see what happens. UGH so frustrating. Thanks again. Jess

Have you ever tried epsom salt bath or foot soaks? Those are really easy and gentle, yet can do wonders for detoxing and can also supply needed magnesium in the tissues...which might help some with pain.

I was doing epsom salt baths, Razzle...I haven't in awhile. I think it would be a good idea to do them again. Thank you so much. You are a lifesaver, always. xo Jess
