I have a friend who seemingly got bit by something and has a rash and area around the bit that is very hard and sore. It doesn't necessarily look like a bullseye rash in my mind, but wondering if there's a good site to show the variety of rashes that fit into the category of being related to lyme.

Not ever rash is the same and not everyone gets a rash that they know of. Could be in the scalp or other places you just can't see.

- IMPORTANT to know (even when they appear which they do not always) that not all lyme rashes that appear are bullseyes. ANY rash after a tick bite is of concern, anywhere on the body. -

- Please let your friend know that he or she should see a LLMD. Of course, immediate treatment NOW really could save the day and, hopefully, their regular doctor may at least be of some help.
WHY you need an ILADS "educated" or "minded" Lyme Literate doctor (whether MD or ND, or both) - starting with assessment / evaluation. -
