Evening,
I've been trying to make, learn, find, discern connections between
This treacherous illness and anything, along with ticks, that predisposes some, such as myself.

Just wondering about a connection between how use of old school birth control pills (the type that had fairly largehormonal doses such as those in the late 1970s) and Lyme. I had nausea, vomiting, edema, and blood clots from the pill, then difficulty conceiving.

Anyone else who may have had some issues with the pill and has many verying symptoms with Lyme? Guess I just want to see if even anecdotal evidence might save someone, such as our daughter from this. Thanks.

Of course any infection or illness can hit those with underlying stressors or conditions hard.

Still, I've seen some who have been a the top of their form in all manners of speaking totally be toppled by lyme.

We can all look back and see certain things that may have set us up, so to speak, but make no mistake, lyme can hit anyone, anytime. It is an equal opportunity distroyer.

I doubt that anything you did mattered on the grand scale, really, as lyme can take down the best of the best even in perfect health before the bite.

Of course, some things can make it harder but it's plenty hard enough, anyway.

We all just do the best we can with the imformation we have at the time. Here's to education moving forward.

Even so, since steroids can make lyme so much worse, your point about hormonal steroids is to be considered.

It can cause yeast to flourish, which could weaken the body, making it more susceptible to bacteria. The hormones themselves might do the same.

One thing to "save" your daughter is to keep her away from YAZ!
