We're working on selecting a mold remediator for our home. Any key questions to ask them to make sure they'll do a good job?
I had a call on the phone, apparently has not heard of Dr. S. or ERMI testing (at least by that name). Would have wished they had familiarity with those teachings, but in the end not sure how important that is, I imagine there were remdiators doing good jobs before Dr. S. and ERMI testing came on the scene.
I found this company on Angie's list for my area, they looked the best to me from what I read about jobs they had done. They are 60 miles away but travel much further than that (they were up in SC this week, even though located in FL). It seems they are the ones in the area that get the big/difficult/messy jobs.
I've heard it's so important to get someone who will do the job right, apparently many have horror stories (cleaning the house of mold but they didn't even move the furniture, being one I read recently). So, how to avoid the horror and find the right one? Any suggestions?

I would ask if their work is guaranteed.

i interviewed 4 and they all said different things...different problems-cause-one was 20,000. job...one 1500.
turned out they were all wrong about the cause. it was a leaky toilet and cover up by sellers.
you have to be very careful...good luck.
make sure you read the govt site about mold remediation-its not biased...and will help you not waste money

I remember you putting up a good site before, care to put it up again? I just checked my file of references/data and didn't see it there.
I feel I have a decent handle on what the problems are, at least many of them, always could be more hidden ones I suppose. My main concern is whether we'll get the cleaning executed properly.
