This is the result of my parasite test. It says not normally a human problem unless symptoms for which I have inflamation per my latest scope. I have been fighting GI problems/acid reflux since 2002 when I went to Cancun. Any suggestions where to go from here. I am going to visit with my doc. Does somebody know the (3) prescriptions including Alinia that some of the lyme doctors use.
Thanks

That's not a really helpful diagnosis. If you have no idea of the taxonomy, how can you assume it is a "parasite"; what definition of "parasite" is being used?
They may not be able to give the exact taxonomy, but at very least the test should be able to describe what behavior leads them to believe it is a parasite. Does it appear to be something free floating in the blood? Is it adherent to certain kinds of cells, like red blood cells? Is it internal regarding certain kinds of cells? What size and shape is it? Where exactly was it found? Blood? Stool? Tissue from where etc..? Can they sequence its DNA, and if so what is its closest relative?
"Parasite" can be anything from "wormlike" ascaris, flukes, loa, to protozoa like malaria/babesia/protomyxzoa etc...and range in size from visible with the naked eye to microscopic, depending on one's definition.
Just reporting that they found a "parasite" of unknown taxonomy is not good science nor does it even suggest where to begin treatment.
