Looks thorough and convincing. A good summary of the evidence for persisting infection.
I did wonder about the "post-infectious immune processes" that might be generating symptoms, according to this author. My own feeling is that the immune processes to worry about are those that occur during infection. Until someone can show that any symptoms are actually post-infectious, this idea remains unproven.
And it concludes with evidence to be used by treating physicians for persisting disease. I would like to have seen a statement about the need for better treatments.
