thank you so much for your encouragement! All of you! Your the best

I needed that! Validation is crucial for me too.

I hope Flagyl helps me, but I doubt I'll get in two doses today.

I'm so tired from all of this that I just want to go to sleep.

How could you not be tired? It's been a tough couple of days for you.

Not sure how often the Flagyl was dosed for you, but depending, you might get in two doses by the end of this evening.

Regardless, it should help you. Get a good night's sleep!

Hi everyone,

I'm on flagyl, and seem to be responding, which probablymeans I have c. diff.

So how does the micoplasma pneumonia and other issues get treated now?

I'm going to a GI doc tomorrow, but my llmd seems to think that I can go back on IV zith after being on flagyl for a few days.

Has anyoe with C.DIff done this and been ok with it?

Not responding so well today.

I'm scared.

TOmorrow is GI appointment, and my nonbelieving family is turning against me that I loaded myself up with abx and who says I have c. diff.

That i should never have taken the abx for Lyme and co to begin with.

How do I handle GI appointment? I need to know if its c. diff or colitis or whatever else, but I'm on flagyl so they can't take a stool culture.

ANd what happens with the mycoplasma and the Lyme?

I wouldn't worry about the mycoplasma and lyme at this point. Maybe your body needs a break anyway.

I would concentrate on taking care of c.diff first.

I understand about your family. They just don't get it. Our choices are few.

I guess you have to tell the GI about the c diff and flagyl. He will understand. He's probably seen others in the same boat.

Hang in there. I know what it feels like to be scared and have your body out of wack and feel very alone.

Do I give the LLMD stool culture test results to the GI doc?

I don't want my LLMD's name in his office, but I want him to believe me.

As I never actually took a c. diff test-my LLMD put me on flagyl before I could give a sample- the GI doc won't be able to draw a conclusive determination if it is or not c. diff--or a colon issue.

I think the GI doc is supposed to be somewhat LYme friendly, but I really don't know.

But he will be upset that I'm taking meds for C. diff without knowing with certainty that it is c. diff.

If you have to, take him the report but black out the LLMD's name.

I don't think the GI will be upset. You can just say your Lyme Specialist instructed you to take flagyl based on the acute symptoms you were having.

He will take it from there. If he is at all Lyme Literate he will understand if you tell him you have been chronically ill with Lyme and it's been a very rough ride. You need not explain more, in my opinion. You are just there for his help.

I guess I don't understand which stool culture results you have to show the GI, if you started flagyl before you did a stool sample.

Sorry, nevermind, I see it's the results you posted about in the beginning.

Yes, you can black out the name of the LLMD, if you think it's a problem.

I hope he is LYme friendly.

I do know another Lyme patient went to him thinking she had Chrone's disease with the Lyme, but he told her that it can mimic Lyme disease and probably from Lyme.

Which is why I think he is Lyme friendly.

I can block out the LLMD's name. The GI doc is after all a conventional GI.

I told my LLMD that I was going to a Lyme friendly GI guy. I feel like I need my IV Zith tr eatment so desperately, but I can't have it.

My sx are flaring big time, and I just found out a personal crisis with my new grandson, so that isn't helping.

Brand new baby of two days old is in hospital with fever, and docs are checking him out.

I don't know what's going on, but I've got to be well to help my daughter and new grandson through this.

Just found out, and stress is certainly NOT helping my issues in any way.

How are you lax mom!?Thank you so much!

And I for you!

I just found out info that the GI doc is indeed a Lyme friendly doc, so I sincerely hope he can help me .

I felt so much better on the IV Zith, that even my nurse see's the difference when I'm off it.

Lets see what the GI doc says tomorrow, and my LLMD wants me to call him tomorrw. So we'll see.

Lyme sx flaring big time!
