Okay, so I am going on oral antibiotics until I figure out how i can afford IV.
Since the bacteria will go into cysts form while on antibiotics, is there a way to get the cyst form?
Anything natural? Supplement?

Burrascano Guidelines, page 13:
"The antibiotics commonly used for Lyme do not kill the cystic form of Bb. However, there is laboratory evidence that metronidazole and tinidazole will disrupt it. Therefore, the chronically infected patient who has resistant disease may need to have metronidazole (or tinidazole) added to the regimen. More details are provided in the section on treatment options."
Your lyme doctor should know this.

I think I remember reading something about the Cowden protocol - Samento & Banderol - going after the cysts too...or was that biofilms?
But yeah, Grapefruit Seed Extract is supposed to get the cysts.
And with Flagyl/Tindamax, start with tiny doses and work your way up. I had to start with 1/4 tablet every other day when I first started Flagyl...otherwise the herxing was too intense.
Took me 4 months to get up to 2 tablets/day, then my doctor wanted me up to 3/day...but I haven't been able to go that high yet (too much herxing).

I just read the following elsewhere, and thought it relevant to this thread:
The Usnea is used in the Byron White A-Bart and A- Myco formula as;
"This herb is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that affects viruses, protozoa, Candida, trichamonas, Chlamydia and other microorganisms. It also is used as an analgesic and cyst buster."
The herbsforlyme site lists its abilities as this;
Applications: Cyst form of Bb.
Other Applications: Ehrlichia, Bartonella, Mycobacteria, Mycoplasma, Candida *Antibacterial, antifungal
Ive read in a few places that when Doxycycline is used it killed the lyme spirochetes but the cyst form doubled.
So it didnt really kill the spirochete they just changed form to avoid the doxy. Im not a fan of synthetic antibiotics but I think there could be a place for Usnea alongside doxycycline use.
