I was taking it as part of babs treatment but believe it to be somewhat effective against Lyme.

Ditto to the above. I treated my Lyme disease with oral clindamycin, 150mg 2x/day, for 5 years!

Now I'm taking turmeric capsules for anti-inflam action. Doesn't work quite as well as the clinda did, but it does keep Lyme inflammation in check.
What happened re the clinda - well, you could just imagine the critters going, "Let's see if we can... -" "I wanna beat -" "I - " etc, as clinda wiped 'em out for 5 years.
Then, "Aha, I've mutated. I'm still here!" "Me too! I'm still here too."
And when enough of 'em could say that, that's when the clinda no longer worked. Took them 5 years to figure it out...
But, wonderfully enough, clinda still works for any other garden-variety infection I get, which is good news, medically speaking.

Beth, I took other anti-inflams at the time, like mangosteen juice, noni juice, grapeseed extract capsules, each for various symptoms.
The mangosteen juice stopped eye symptoms, and the noni juice and grapeseed extract capsules totally shrinks lipomas to nothing.
That's a big deal - I had surgery on one lipoma and it continued to grow. Most people have surgery on those things. I should be written up!
Not only that, but that whole combo treated my brain, dropping my high prolactin blood count. This pituitary hormone count is still dropping. Pretty interesting, all in all.
