no-i had mosquito bite...thought it must be tick when i saw the red...told the doc not an emergency so they couldnt see me for 3 days...i got there they sent me to hosp-it was mrsa...iv vanco...2 surgeries to cut it out...almost died.
i was saved by a surgeon recenly back from iraq war who wasnt afraid to do surery in the bed cuz no or available
be carefull...really

Yes, definitely get it checked out! The hard part is finding someone knowledgeable to check it out--=instead of the usual deniers. Don't let anyone say that it is nothing, don't worry about it! Be nicely persistent.
