My grandson's doc told him he has contact dermatitis (he's a toddler). Any suggestions to help him? He is itching like crazy. The doc said benadryl (it knocks him out), but he just wakes up and starts itching.

If you don't mind me asking, where as the "contact dermatitis" located?
Is it on the palms of his hands?
Or another locale?

Well, this is weird. My daughter said she put colloidial oatmeal cream on him and he stopped itching.

Good! I've heard that oat products can help rashes and itching.
Look to his diet.
