Lyme is in the National News BIG TIME Now-- Yesterday I saw 10 National news reports on lyme-
Now is the time for you to contact your Local news and tell them that you have Lyme and Volunteer to be interviewed - phone or Email TV station-
Doing a TV interviews are pretty easy--
You just tell the reporter Your Story -- Simple as that -
You have the option to be Anonymous -
Personally for this I think Anonymous is the best way to go --
Interview will take about 1 hour but could take up to 2 hours at most --
You can do the interview Anywhere ---
if you dont want to do the interview at your home - a Park is a good place -- You want a place that is Quiet--
News people will know of many locations that will work --
The TV news truck with Logo on it will be where ever the interview takes place--
I have been in about 10 interviews - its not hard -
Just tell your story like you would to a Friend- -- Simple as that --
Its a good idea to make a simple short list for things you want to talk about -
Tell Your story -
The reporter will ask you some questions to Help You in telling your story --
Take your time in answering -
Dont rush - No need to --
It is Much better for your answers to be Slow and Clear than fast and scattered -
If you make a mistake - correct yourself and continue on -- Its not a big deal --
I worked for TV and have shot 2 hundred interviews of all types and locations - So my info comes from experience -
Likely there will be 2 people the reporter and a camera/lighting man -
The TV crew will try to get the Best Looking and Sounding video they can -
so they may make suggestions- listen to them - they want your interview to be the best it can -
I am going to email my local TV stations right now -- and do a interview --
I saved a Huge trash bag full of pill bottles for years to use in the interview that for local TV station --
Right Now it the time to Contact your local TV station ---
You Can Do this and Make a Difference --Jay--

Yes, lyme does seem to be in the news a lot recently. My hope is that this will spread awareness and ways of prevention and urge on more research for a cure or better treatment.
Some have said the reason lyme is suddenly in the news is to create hype so they can sell the new vaccine they are coming out with, I surely hope the latter is not the case.
