I have recently started a new treatment protocol with many homeopathics and herbs. Some very strange sensations in the left side of my face and jaw have become more pronounced recently.

I have a sizzling sensation, especially where a 'bubble' at the base of my left sinus was found in a recent cat scan of sinus. This sensation goes from an area directly over a titanium dental implant that I had done in 2008 all the way to my left ear, which went deaf in 2011/2012.

Although the ENT said the scan was fine, I wonder if that 'bubble' is related to all of my lingering symptoms. It feels as though the sizzling fluid I feel is draining or trying to squeeze itself out of this area through the implanted tooth. I feel a constant tingling sensation here (also a few other areas of my jaw/head). I know this sounds totally nuts!

Could lyme and co. or some type of staph infection made their home here? I am praying that the new meds I am using are reaching this area and will eventually get rid of whatever chronic infection has invaded this part of my body.

Just sharing this to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Heavy metals, parasites, and there could also be an infection too. Also, lyme loves the mouth. I would see a biologicial dentist and treat for parasites (meds).

Thanks Catgirl. I did see a few biological dentists and had some oral surgery of an infected tooth (and necrotic bone) done back in June. Then last month, I had a big silver crown and 2 mercury fillings removed.

I also started MMS enemas recently but no sign of parasites yet. I take cholestyramine and DE, hoping that will help to get rid of the metals... Also taking Interphase plus, which has EDTA. Everything is such a mystery with this illness!

Ahhh...necrotic bone in the jaw.

This is related to hypercoagulation, which is a problem with a systemic infection like Lyme.

You can take systemic enzymes to treat this.

Sorry, I can't tell--were you able to use a biological dentist for the crown and fillings? The only reason I ask is because removal from a non biological dentist can cause way more mercury exposure than a patient would normally have gotten from off gassing (keeping amalgams). And of course that could cause other issues.

That's great you are going after heavy metals and parasites. Are you taking anything else to detox the metals?

Hang in there, you're on the right path!

Yes, the dentist I used is a member of IAOMT. Even doing it safely set me back some. It takes a while to bounce back!

Oral systemic enzymes such as nattokinase have been proven to reduce the cavitation infections. I saw before and after Cavitat scans on patients with necrotic jaw bones, While some infection was not completely eradicated there was noticeable improvements that reduced the depth and breadth of cavitation surgeries.

Carol, that was an interesting article. I had never read about any relationship between dental cavitations and hyper-coagulation.

It is off topic, but I had a pretty nasty injury about 10 days ago that caused a horrible hematoma (heavy closet shelf fell on my thigh)and the bruising that followed is like nothing I have ever had in my lifetime.

I am black, blue, green and red from my quad all the way to my ankle. The hematoma is still very large, tender and as hard as a rock.

When the doc saw all of my bruising, she asked me if I was on any blood thinners and I had to think about this, because I am sure with my lyme treatment that many of the herbs and supplements are aimed at doing exactly that (esp the enzymes...)

I have decided to stop taking enzymes and any of my supplements and herbs that I am unsure of until I know they are okay to take. The thing is, I am also worried about a blood clot with this injury. It is hard to know what is safe and not safe.

My fibrinogen levels have been within range when tested, but I notice that I tend to bruise very easily. Not sure if this means I have thin blood or thick blood.
