Sorry if this is kinda gross...

Well, I'm glad I decided to do this. The inital experience was not pleasant to say the least, but by the end it wasn't so bad. Afterwards I was a bit nauseous and weak feeling (they tell you that you'll be refreshed and energetic) and I had some loose stool for a while, but I'm fine now.

Anyway, it had to be worth getting that "stuff" out of me...whatever it was...Crazy looking things (could be parasites or just food particles and probably yeast too...but not everyday bowel movement stuff)...The woman even commented that it was "a lot" and that I was had a lot of mucous.

Good for you for giving it a go.

How often will you do the colonics?

I've never had one, too squeamish yet.

I have 2 coffee enemas a week that I do myself, also squeamishly. Haha.

But I know what you mean when you say not everyday stuff...

Good for you for trying a colonic! I wish I had tried it at the start of my lyme treatment. I just couldn't wrap my head around it back then. Each one got easier for me, and more energy as well. Have you tried coffee enemas yet? They are great too.

Mucus is a sign of parasites. Intestinal parasites definitely look crazy (lol)! Check out THE PARASITE WARRIOR'S SUPPORT THREAD. Lots of good info there.

Yeah I figured the mucous was either parasites/yeast or sign of infection...wish there was a clear cut answer.

I have not tried enemas...what is the difference?...is one better or worse?

I absolutely would do it again. I did it once in an emergency. It was astounding. The gut can hold some crazy stuff, and a lot of it.

For 60 bucks or whatever it was. A no brainer.

Where I live, there's a tanning salon and the girls go tanning and get a colonic same visit. Lots of people do it that aren't sick so there's no reason why a sick person shouldn't unless of course you already have loose bowels and expel everything easily.

I have maintained the one colonic I did with coffee enemas and it has made a MASSIVE change for the better in all symptoms.

The coffee enemas basically dump glutathione into your liver and clean the toxins out of your body. You will feel so good when this happens.

This explains it better: http://gerson.org/pdfs/How_Coffee_Enemas_Work.pdf

I use to do both colonix AND coffee enemas. Not at the same time, obviously, but they both work in different ways and both help with detoxing.

Many years ago I use to work as a colonic therapist. I was trained at Dr Alsleban's clinic in San Deigo. Dr Alsleban was one of the earlier alternative medical doctors of some notoriaty. They had about 10 colonic machines running full time!

You'd be amazed at the strange stuff I saw coming out of people! absolutely shocking!

I learned sooo much there and I'm glad to see folks here taking advantage of the therapy. If you dont have access to colonics coffee enemas are a good choice as well as ozone rectal insufflation, wheat grass implants.

At that clinic and others I worked at we did before and after xrays of the colon as well as iris diagnois and compared the two... and this is how I know for sure that Iridology is a for real thing. The healing was incredible in some people. Having a dysfunctional colon with Lyme can't be good.. and you know what? Most people have a dysfunctional colon. Care of the gut needs to be incorporated into almost ALL healing plans.

When you get a colonic make sure that the place you go to bubbles either oxygen or ozone into the water for superior benefit. Ozone is the best of the two.

I got a colonic recently and I took my ozone machine with me and they juryrigged the system to get the ozone in.
