Omg, the worst herx I've ever had. On Diflucan for 11th day and total will be 30 days.
I had thrown up on day 2 and then starting on day 7 severe anxiety, burning inside nose and ears, flu like symptoms, painful stiff neck in the back, entire head pressure, terrible headache, upper teeth pain, eyes are vibrating constantly and burning swollen huge, right eye aches behind it, lower back pain.
Since day 7 these symptoms have not let uo except the 2 day ordeal of anxiety that was very dangerous. All these symptoms are severe and no pain pills I can get my hands on even touch this. I have been detoxing and totally off dairy, gluten and sugar for months. I am worried because my eye issues are now about to put me in the hospital.
Holy wow this is bad!

I don't think you should make assumptions about this: it needs checking with a specialist to be sure that it is merely fungal die-off.

I agree with ukcarry (assumptions).
Your symptoms sound like protomyxzoa (FL1953), not from the diflucan: "painful stiff neck in the back, entire head pressure, terrible headache, upper teeth pain, eyes are vibrating constantly and burning swollen huge, right eye aches behind it."
A proto herx is exactly like this for me. Horribly painful. For proto, you have to cut the fat an animal products to avoid this. Also, diflucan helps me with proto, but not so much during the herx.

Cattail,
I agree with CD57. Diflucan also gets the cyst form of lyme. I recommend you talk with your doc about this and ask him about hitting the spirochete form at the same time.
Also, you may be allowing more than lyme to come up to the surface, since yeast and parasites (think protomyxzoa, and more) go hand in hand.
I also think it might be good to consider Lymetoo's suggestion of a break, or at least go a little more slowly. What dose are you on?

Thanks all. I am still hanging in there, it's so hard. I am also on IV Rocephin for Lyme. Just before I got on the Diflucan I had a huge Bart flare and LLMD said it was due to untreated yeast. I have all my Bart symptoms back. I have always wondered what the eye issues and vibrations were. The bottoms look like shiners all the time and get huge depending on inflammation. The tops are swollen too and eyes are dark all around. I was under the impression that the eyes were due to yeast or biotoxin allergy / sensitivity at this point because I am also huge with inflammation since I started the Diflucan. My neck and shoulders are crunching and sore like my Bart, so I am now concerned with what is going on all the more.
I am on 200mg of Diflucan right now.
What is the treatment for Protomyxzoa please?
Thank you.

I had the most horrible herx from diflucan a few years ago. The horrible head pressure, vomiting, etc. Ended up in the ER. After all catscans, bloodtests, yada yada, I said yes to a spinal tap. Long story short... had viral meningitis... or should we say, a fungal meningitis. A few of the ER Drs were friends with my llmd in AZ and they were in my face about it being related to the protozoan..... was nice that that got to see a 'die' off moment with me! (ya, no.. You do need to let your body rest from the diflucan for a few days or a week.
Don't do the die off, herx too hard!!!!It's not good for your body to fight anything when it's that down and out.
I just posted in another one of your posts the treatment that I am on for proto....

Ummmm... didn't see that you are also on IV Rocephin.
Do you think you might be reacting to it?
I ended up with a true allergy to the stuff after 3 months of it! Three days of drug allergy testing!
I would vomit and hives, etc from that wicked stuff.
Please... again, there are so many 'thoughts' on taking sooo many drugs at once, but slow and steady wins the race. I would never do all those hard core drugs again if my life depended on it. I almost killed myself with powerful drugs. I want to kill the disease, not me.
I would back off and give your body a week's break if possible. Or more! It depends on your llmd. My first one was a gunho strong drug pusher. My llmd now is a slow and steady/diet and lifestyle kind of guy.
