I have what I think is dull gallbladder pain and referred pain between the shoulder blades. What can be done about this, do those flushes really work?

Don't want anyone to take my gallbladder.

Yes, they do work. ... BUT! if you have very large stones you can run into problems getting them out, that being said people do pass some rather large stones. Its best to use a flush that has epsom salts in it. My friend has to do this every year or they get pretty big. Some think stones are realated to parasites but I haven't a clue.

Also, your gallbladder pain may not be due to stones at all. My husband had the symptoms and they did exams and said it wasn't stones and didnt know what it was. When they got in there they found gangrene in his gallbaldder. Got it in a nick of time as they said it could have ruptured.

The last time this happened to me, I started taking this:
Planetary Herbals, Stone Free,
http://www.iherb.com/Planetary-Herbals-Stone-Free-820-mg-90-Tablets/1609#p=1&oos=1&disc=0&lc=en-US&w=planetary%20herbals%2C%20stone%20free&rc=113&sr=null&ic=1

I've never done a liver flush, but I've used farinfrared light at 880 wavelength and also pulsed magnetic energy (PEMF).
The PEMF works faster to reduce inflammation and stop pain.

You could also try a castor oil pack.

The castor oil pack works for me too.

Yes, do the flushes, but with the magnesium and with the 5 day preparation beforehand to thin/soften the sludge or stones.

You could also ask for an ultrasound to see what's going on there, esp a consideration if you are doing rocephin.

They didn't work for me.

Also, if one is on certain meds, be sure to make sure your meds are OK with grapefruit juice.

I know others will disagree with me but...

The epsom salt prep beforehand is more violent than PicoSalax prep for colonoscopy.

It left me so dehydrated, I was sick for days.

I did everything like the flush said, but I just had such violent diareha from the epsom salt prep, that I don't think the olive oil/grapefruit mixture was retained long enough.

I would be especially worried to do it now, as I would be scared to lose a lot of good bacteria from my guts.

Castor oil packs do work for me, and are much less traumatic, in my opinion.

Our internal organs are not toilets. They are not intended to be "flushed" - Flushes really PUSH, constrict then purge - and that irritate and otherwise alarms the rest of the body from such an internal tornado that is just not natural.

I can hear body parts talking to each other now "Wow, sure didn't see that coming!" - "Well, that was not in the forecast for today!"

"Holy Moly, guess we 'aren't in Kansas anymore.'"

And the adrenal system and the heart are too terrified to speak, or act. They are in just in shock.

To avoid such shock:

Nutritional support is the best way, gently. Castor Oil pack may help and Carol's suggestion seems the best way to begin: Planetary Herbals, Stone Free.

Also explore: Chanca Piedra - Phyllanthus niruri (Stonebreaker)

Liver support generally also support the gallbladder. You can also take a look at the book, The One Earth Herbal Source Book, links are here. Search "gallbladder" within that site.

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Body work, too. Yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, a stroll . . . gentle massage. Roll around for fun on a P.T. Ball. Challenge family and friends to belly laughs. Sing. Move the body to reduce constrictions and support circulation.

Google: UPLEDGER - and go to their page on VISCERAL MANIPULATION.

Yeah, I had a bad experience with the flush, too. I think it's a bit too extreme. I did learn a lot from it but I don't recommend it. This website has a lot of good info -

http://gallbladderattack.com/

I also like the supplement that Carol mentioned.
