I am off abx for now (plan on using Buhner protocol) and I feel sad, lethargic and cry easily. I just finished my cycle so I don't think it is that.

Could this be bart raising its head from lack of abx? One dose of cats claw wouldn't make you like this, right?

What dose of Cat's Claw? I started with only 5 drops x2/day and ramped up to 1 tsp. over a month.

I'm sorry
[Frown]

I'm hopping in my transporter and I'm coming over. We'll eat butter drenched popcorn, Nibs and watch Jason Statham and Vin Diesel movies until the tears are gone.

Could be Bart. How long have you been off abx and have you noticed any other Bart symptoms flaring?

My family is making me go on a trip at thanksgiving that I can't handle right now.

My boy is getting bullied at school and spent 2 hours in the principals today.......

on and on and on

Just give it a little time.

Things will look brighter soon.

you are not alone.

I'll try to join you guys for the popcorn if I can keep it down

Thanks Greta M. that sounds like a good idea!! I have been off the abx for a few weeks. My hands and feet are hurting too. Everything is flaring right now really. I have been really light headed today and weak. The crying and feeling sad is really unusual though.

I just really want to give herbals a try because yeast is problematic.

2roads I am sorry you are having such a hard time! I know sometimes it just feels like everything is going to crap all at the same time.

Lymetoo, still working on the yeast but I had a setback involving some apple pie and coke. I know it is bad!!

Gigi. how long were you on abx? when I went off abx last december after 18 months, my body protested for about a month or so...

my issues were more physical, gut and hormone related. I even got a period after thinking I was done, since it had been a year and 1/2... I do believe, abx effect your hormones...so your system may be readjusting. (and that month before my unexpected friend, I felt like I was 20 again, good and bad...wicked mood swings... but had more energy)

But after a month, or two, everything evened out for me, and I actually felt better than I had in a long time, especially emotionally.

alas, I am back on abx now, as my symptoms came back slowly... but I don't regret my break.

the non controlled tears happened to me starting the 4th day of each of 2 week flagyl pulses. so I absolutely understand how sad it feels.

i like to make a ritual of feeling blue, and I detox too... a nice warm epsom bath, with baking soda, and also something in it that smells good (if you can tolerate)

A big glass of water with lemon... no lights... maybe a candle... music if you like... and I just sit there... and sometimes I cry and just let it all out... I sit there til the water cools... and usually when I get out I am a bit better.

I hope you are feeling better today!

Gigi... Try making fermented vegetables. They will help keep you off the sugar....and that will help your mood swings.

I like that...."going to crap all at the same time".

I'm hanging in there, are you okay?

Feel like I might keep the popcorn down a little better, and sure could use the company.

Hugs

It sounds like bart. I love what Kudzu said (ritual). Also, Lymetoo is right, yeast will make you blue.

kudzu, i have been on abx off and on for two years.

I broke down and took some abx and I feel better today, I guess it was an infection (probably bart) flaring.

thanks for the tip Lymetoo, i will try that.

I know the yeast needs to be worked on too.
