So my doctor told me that I can increase one of abx right now but not both at the same time. She said to either increase the

doxycycline or the rifampin but she left in entirely up to me which one I wanted to increase which I thought was weird so I

don't really know which one will be more beneficial any advice?

Probable depends on how you reacted to each when you first started to take them. That's why you should always stagger in new abx protocols.

If the doxy was tough on your stomach, like most people, up the Rif first. Some folks have a tough time ramping up Rif as well.

good luck. My next apt is in 3 weeks and I expect to up my Rif or somthing similar.

Rifampin is very rough on the stomach too. It is strange for a doctor to leave it up to you.
