I have kidney pain that comes and goes. My LLMD had me go to the doc in a box and get checked. No infection..waiting on blood test. The doctor who was about 12 said "So what are you seeing a Rhuemetologist or something?" I said "No..a blank, blank, blank" and he said " How long is he going to keep you on those antibiotics?" and I said: "'til it's gone!" He said: "Ha." Clueless. Anyway, has anyone had trouble with kidney pain? My doctor is having me take a week off of the abx. Any recommendations about what to drink, eat, for the kidneys? Thanks!

When I was having kidney pain, the worst advice I was given was, "Drink more fluids." this was from another doc in a box.
I was already drinking a gallon a day-my kidneys were struggling to process that amount.
So what did I do? I followed the doc in the box instructions and drank TWO gallons a day and ended up in the hospital.
Just sharing my experience.

Look into PEMF, pulsed magnetic energy.
It will improve the circulation, so that nutrients can enter the cells and wastes can exit. The cells can work better, and heal.
I've used this for kidney pain, muscle spasms, lacerations, nausea. It fixed my painful knee.
Of course, this would be in addition to stopping any medications that may be causing problems. Are you having any liver problems?
