Anyone here have really bad skin on their back?
I have an increased amount of little reddish bumps that look like acne but often don't easily pop like a pimple (though they might feel filled with something).
I guess they are more like nodules. It's all over my back now and around the buttocks and neck as well. Can't seem to figure out what I'm supposed to do about it. I had a minor amount a couple years ago, but now it seems really rampant.
Does anyone know what causes this (coinfection?) and what things work for it? It is obvious that it is part of the disease process I'm dealing with.

"Yes me too. I forgot to add if I pick at them, when they dry up-they dry up in a line-look like a small scratch but never really heal."
Yeah, that sounds similar.
"VV-if yours are bigger and boil like-they could possibly be staph?"
There are only occasionally larger ones that have "stuff" that can be drained but not, but more often then not it's a bunch little tough bumps that look like old popped zits that never heal.
"Dairy??
Are you taking abx now?"
I've had dairy only a handful of times in the past year or so. I am not on ABX now but I am on:
Japanese knotweed Cat's Claw essential oils (topical and ingested)

Anybody else? I am very curious to know where it sits with the Lyme stuff. Bartonella maybe?

I definately had this same symptom. Early in treatment during the main die off period treating for parasites with alinia. Alinia also from my recollection treats many pathogens such as babesia, lyme, parasites, and probably more. But yes,I dont get zits but I had them and my doc looked at em and said this was something he had seen. They weren't pimples per se but were more like you describe small red bumps,no white raised center. I think it will go away as your germ load lessens.

Most likely from parasites. Google parasite symptoms and check out the PARASITE WARRIORS SUPPORT THREAD.

Hi VV.
I wanted to add that I am/have been on doxy for quite a while, so there is no way the bumps would be the acne bacteria.
For months I've been on min. 3, sometimes 4 abx, plus herbals-the only thing surviving this assault is lyme...our mortal enemy, of course.
I have been trying to be more diligent with the NT Detox, the activated charcoal and the chorella powder.
The Epsom Baths seem to help the ones on my shoulders and upper back.
Mostly I've noticed, they come up, and then dry up in 24 hours.
Strange layers of skin bumps.
I have been trying to drink more water and alkaline it first with my santevia water stick.
I don't know what else to do. Maybe when spring comes the sun will help.

VV-I do think Gael and Norcal have a point.
Ticks guts are filthy garbage dumps.
Dr. F S (scientist U of A) and his wife, Dr. J S (scientist), is doing dNa analysis on tick guts, and is finding unimaginable amounts of bacteria in ticks.
I would love to chat with them on their findings.
Who knows what is swimming around in our bodies from these ticks.
