I've been mostly bedridden for three years with chronic fatigue and neurological symptoms. This has made for very limited activity with only very occasionally being able to do anything regarded as "exercise".
"Exercise" has at the most consisted of walking around in the driveway, a set of curls with 5lb weights and some deep-knee bends. I tried to do any of this activity when it felt like a window was available to do so, which is infrequent.
Recently however, it seems that I am getting even weaker and cannot do even those light exercises and that the very basic activity I try to maintain (walking up and down stairs, heating up meals in the kitchen, showering) all seem more difficult.
Different muscle groups will shake upon light use such as getting out of bed, bending over or sitting down. Lifting a cup to my mouth can feel like lifting weights (my arms will feel lead-like and have soreness).
This weakness fluctuates daily, but recently the overall trend is worse and it makes me feel like I have no room to actively improve.
BTW- I don't see any striking loss of muscle mass, it's just the way it feels when I use the muscles that is the issue.
I don't really know what to do. I'm trying not to be scared but I feel I have to do something. ALS? Myasthenia Gravis?
I am not on ABX now but maybe I should just go for it. I was worried about having a bad herx but don't really have any other options at this point.
Anyway, just thinking out loud instead of letting this bounce around in my head endlessly.

I know you said that a few mos of salt/c didn't work for you, but maybe consider the combo of antiparasitic herbs AND salt/c? The combo packs quite a punch for moving parasites out of the colon. The herbs also can go after other infections as well.
This combo really helped me a lot. Don't mean to keep repeating myself, I just feel so bad for you. Maybe you also need abx. Another thread about a year ago mentioned the combo of doxy and Ivermectin. Just some thoughts.

I've tried lots of anti-parasitic measures so far:
salt-c black walnut hull (just did some in an enema today) wormwood cloves garlic (I did 5-8 cloves of crushed garlic a day for months) papaya seeds oil of oregano (3 months now) other essential oils (eucalyptus etc.)
The most I get from anything is doing a salt and acv enema which seem to get small pieces of mucoid plaque out (it doesn't seem to match any pictures of parasites besides the "rope worm" which looks much more substantial than what I see).
I have considered trying Alinia or Mebendazole at some point just for the hell of it, but I don't expect much from it given the lack of results I've seen with all the above.

I hear ya! All I can say is that I started just with antiparasitic herbs and a lot of them for six mos without seeing any results.
When I added the salt/c, all he## broke loose and I had a mass exodus for mos. The COMBO of Parastroy and salt/c could possibly get them moving out.
How much salt/c did you work up to?
P.S, Are you saying you had rope worms exit?

It sounds like you might be seeing pieces of rope worms. Mine came out in pieces at first. IMO, you have to get them out in order to feel better. They suck the nutrients out of us and degrade our bodies.
No parasite wants to leave its happy home. Sometimes people have to turn up the heat to get them out. I tried many things for a whole year before they started exiting from me.
Gael is right, combining salt/c with herbal products helps force them out. Parasite meds help too. IMO, everything you do to get them out helps. Don't give up. Eventually the worms can't take any longer and begin to let go.
You might want to try combining salt/c with an anti parasitic herbal product, i.e., humaworm, parastroy, etc.

I know some are excited about salt-c, but I've done up to 8 grams for months and I have nothing to report. I don't think it does much of anything in my case.
"P.S, Are you saying you had rope worms exit?"
Pictures of rope worms look much more substantial. I just get little jelly-like bits on occasion that seem more like mucus than an organism.

VV, That's been Bartonella for me. When I get Bart under control all of that goes away and I almost instantly get my strength back.
Try adaptogen herbs that Buhner recommends but try them in a formula.
I used/use Adrenal Health by Gaia Herbs and have had so much success with it. Unbelieveable turn around in energy, strength, stamina, etc using it.
It has Rhodiola, Ashwaghanda, Holy Basil, Schisandra, Milky Oats... it's in a unique blend and it's liquid phytocaps (great absorption).
Start slow if you do... maybe poke a hole in the capsule and put 1 drop or 2 in a glass of water. It can cause a small amount of jitters at first as the body gets used to it.

Thanks Gael! I'm just so glad I listened to you (finally got it)!
VV, salt/c alone didn't do it for me either. I had to combine salt/c along with herbal parasite products (took them the same day, but apart from each other).
Yes, I've had rope worms exit in pieces. First they were small, then they got bigger. The mucus is a piece of a degraded worm.

Hey, I would love for it to be worms because that would mean I'm getting somewhere, but again it just looks like mucus. No use in imagining it's something else.

Worms release an enzyme when they are dying, which helps to dissolve them, thereby avoiding detection. They do it to protect their friends.
I've had some that were more identifiable than others. If I left them in the toilet for longer than 15 minutes, they turned into a jellied mass. The longer I left them in there, the more they looked like mucus.
Most people would never be able to tell they were previously worms. So the patient gives up, and the parasites keep on living (nature's design). This is also another reason why the lab tests fail.
