Okay family,

Last night I went to the ER. Had some blood work done and a CT scan.

I went due to swelling which is now starting to occur in the tops of my feet. My legs have always been a little swollen, very noticeable when I take my socks off. The swelling in the tops of my feet feels like a fulness and pins and needles when touched.

Liver enzymes good. Bilirubin a little elevated. An old hyda scan showed 50 % gallbladder deficiency.

Chronic pin point pain where the gallbladder/liver/pancreas are. Usually about a 4. A feeling of fullness there as well. Gallbladder looked good on CT as well as liver....hmmmmm.

Blood pressure was high when went in, likely due to stress. EKG was normal.

Help-

Kidney, adrenal, heart, and/or circulation issues can cause swelling in the feet/legs. So can many medications (abx, steroids, etc.). Electrolyte imbalance can also contribute...make sure you are getting enough potassium relative to your sodium intake.

Babesia may increase bilirubin due to red blood cell destruction.

Poor gallbladder function is relatively common...need liver support (milk thistle, etc.).

Thanks Razzle.

I know I need to address my liver and gallbladder in some sort of a cleanse. Someone said to drink 2 days worth of apple juice avery 4-6 hours, and then on the third day do a half cup olive oil.

Does that sound reasonable? I question it.

I am also not wearing my socks all the time. I am starting to take them off more often because I think it's attributing to this. I sleep in the socks I wear all day, and so on and so forth.

I am worried about my heart as well. Need to see a doc for that. Also, I seriously need to lose about 40 pounds.

I just thought all these symptoms signalled one thing, but maybe they are not all related.

Hmmm
