So maybe my latest "flare" is not lyme
I got my test results back and my ANA Titers were high - over 1:80 w/ homogenous and speckled pattern.
I don't know what any of this means. Could lyme cause this or is this something completely separate?
I see my llmd in 3 weeks but does anyone know what high ANA Titers mean? Thanks.

Thanks guys. Just kinda freaked out. You know......been sick for a decade, get to remission, get reinfected and then find out ana titers are high.
Like you said they are not that high but something is going on. Thanks so much for the info and once I see my llmd I will update on his impressions of elevated ana titers and Lyme.

Good luck. please let me know what they say. I am in the same boat pretty much.
They have me on ldn (low dose naltrexone) it is suppose to help block the autoimmune response.
I hated when the drs. say that it means nothing. I had one dr who said, it doesn't mean anything to them, in their specialty, but it means something to someone else.
