Ok i did the 23and me test and then ran it through genetic genie and these are my mutations. How do i understand this stuff??
Here are my mutations:
You have 1 heterozygous (yellow) mutation(s). These are generally not as bad as red homozygous mutation, but they may still worth paying attention to. They include:
MTHFR A1298C
Here are your homozygous mutations as indicated in your SNP gene table above (not including MTHFR):
VDR Taq BHMT-08
Here are your heterozygous mutations as indicated in your SNP gene table above (not including MTHFR):
Thanks for any advice at all...greatly appreciated!!

Exact same results here. My relief was found with addressing this and ignoring the infections/viruses.
Juicing, not blending is key. Fiber is bad. Coffee enemas are almost a must because people that have that mutation are lower in glutathione than most. Therefor, toxins/free radicals are more of an issue.
Basically the liver isn't as efficient as it should be and causes inflammation, allergies, bloating, etc...Infections, yeast, metals, viruses, and mold just exacerbate it.
I've seen more progress addressing methylation than any of the other protocols. It's a lifestyle though.
Result will be a report on what supplements Dr. Yasko recommends for your specific mutations.
Print the results and take this to your LLMD.
If you don't or can't take this to a doctor, then I'd suggest reading Dr. Yasko's book. Her book tells you how to implement the protocol given on knowyourgenetics.com
Chapter 6 gets into the nuts & bolts of the protocol, but the previous chapters give you a lot of good background and information to help you understand this stuff.
