Doc j put him on diflucan for 30 days, 100 mg. On day one he developed a canker sore, on day four (tonight) he had a green stool. He's on no other meds. Any thoughts if this is related to the diflucan?
Sadly enough, his Igenex WB came back Cdc pos for lyme and Bart. To my knowledge he has not been reinfected in seven years. Just sad. Not doing antibiotics at this point. Fighting yeast.
Incidentally, he has been on Matcha for8 months. I feel like this May have jump started his immune system to achieve all these wonderful pain in the ;(((?)(8& positives. Sorry. Frustrated. Anyway, stopped Matcha while on Diflucan for fear of liver insult.
Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks

Ps- was on Nystatin for three months prior to diflucan.

Hey Tutu.
I've been doing searches here on Diflucan, so I know that. I am concerned about it, but with his new positives, I feel I have to kick it up a notch. He's on no antimicrobial right now, but I need to clean the playing grounds if that should change, so to speak. But if this green stool is a problem with the Diflucan,then I will stop. So, any experience with this is so appreciated.
Matcha is from the green tea plant. It's not just the leaf, but the whole plant that's crushed up into a fine powder and drank. It is supposed to be very high in antioxidants. Good for immunity and detox. I take it too when I can afford it.
We buy the organic kind from our coop in town. He takes a half teaspoon a day. We do put it in warm mlk which may deplete some of its good, but I can't worry. In water, it is awful. Very bitter. I threw up a couple times on it when I first started at a teaspoon full in water. Just could not keep it down. Then I read this could happen and to put it in warm milk Voila. Fine there after.
