Honey is still sugar even though it is a natural source. If you need to avoid sugar, you should avoid all types of sugars.

If your body seems to do okay with a little bit - along with food - or in an herbal or green tea, that might be fine if you do not deal with candida.
If candida is in the picture and not well managed, especially good to avoid such intense sugar. And, if that is so, be sure to take a good anti-fungal agent. SEAGATE olive leaf extract is the best I have found.
There are some brands of STEVIA that are quite fine and do not encourage fungal growth. -
