I was almost normal. I did a bunch of work, but never felt horrible after.

That was a month ago. For the last two weeks I have been on a downward spiral. I'm pretty much at square one again.

Is it the meds, or did I over do it? I'm fairly concerned this will kill me. I'm resigned to God's Will what ever happens, but advice on a healing course of action is welcome.

You may have overdone it, or possibly bit again. Stress or working the body too hard can easily bring back symptoms. You may also need a change in meds.

I agree with what Catgirl has posted. Those are the 3 possibilities. Plus, you could have a coinfection that has not been treated (for example, babesiosis.) Nearly everyone with lyme also has bart and babs in addition.

So, you could try some babs treatment and see what happens. If you get sick from it, bingo! You have your answer! It is babs coming to the fore.

"If your treatment is inadequate, the disease will continue to progress." Those are the exact words from Burrascano when he answered a question about my case many years ago.

So, compare your treatment to Burrascano's. If your dosages are too low, or if you are on only one med for lyme, or if your doc is not treating all the coinfections, then your treatment plan is inadequate.

I was on an inadequate treatment plan for 2 years. By the end of the 2 years, I began getting new horrible symptoms. That is when I went to a lyme conference and submitted the question to Burrascano.

The doc is the key to getting rid of this disease. Can't emphasize that enough. If you can afford a good doc, there is no need to think of dying from this disease. The worst case scenario is taking antibiotics one week per month for the rest of your life.

Study the Burrascano Guidelines. See how your treatment lines up. Perhaps you would do best by going on IV treatment for 6 months or so. But still, one antibiotic is NOT the way to go. You need a very knowledgeable lyme doctor.

True about babesia... nearly everyone with Lyme has it.

Hope you and your doc can figure it out!

I looked at the symptoms for babs, but I don't seem to have them. I don't doubt it is possible.

I changed one antibiotic out and bam the very next day I was doing better. So I have two days of not so bad under my belt now.

Also I'm going to work in Esther C again and some different mushrooms I got out of the habit of taking.

I'm also wondering if not taking my supplements for about a month could cause a herx when I go back on them? I got depressed; and lazy. I have done a horrible job with my diet too. I'm just not getting one hundred precent gluten free after nine months.

The food transition has been difficult for me because I'm a skinny guy anyway, and I burn calories like crazy. I'm up to one seventy now though, which is much better than the one fifty-eight I was at when this thing hit.

When those old pains came back it sure scared me. I hope they stay away The worst part is the cognitive issues.

I'm so sick of my OCD I could spit nails. I'm constantly repeating garbage in my head and my anxiety is always borderline panic attack.
