Doc says to start taking brewers yeast along with one of my meds. What kind of benefit will this provide? I thought all yeast was evil. Any thoughts?

- No, not all yeast is evil. Some is excellent. Brewer's yeast - that yellow flaky stuff - is excellent and even contains some key probiotics.
I'll see if I can find my notes. And, it's gluten free, but be sure of the practices from the place you get it.
Start very slow and low. And WITH FOOD. It can cause a but up upset stomach at first, so don't try it alone until you see how it works with food.
Sprinkle on food or put some in a 1/2 cup of water.
Not past 3 pm until you see how it works for you. It can be stimulating. If too much slow, back down on the dose. Magnesium can serve to balance that, too. -

Thanks Keebler.....I'll take a look. I do take mag and plenty of other probiotics so if this has additional probiotic benefits it may be worth a shot
