I started on Doxycycline about a week and a half ago. After one week on the doxycycline, I started taking Nystatin. I only took two of the Nystatin and developed a skin rash about 5 hours later, so I stopped taking it on the advice of my LLMD. The rash didn't really go away after three days and I was afraid the rash might be from yeast, so I took 4 Nystatin. Today, one day later my rash is much worse and my face is swelling. Does anyone know if I might have an allergic reaction to the doxy? Or more likely from Nystatin? Or maybe from yeast? I am not eating sugar, fruit, or wheat, and am taking lots of probiotics and kefir. Does a doxy allergy take a week to show up?

Really hard to know! Nystatin does contain food colorings so maybe that is it?
You can have an allergy to ANYTHING and it can begin at any time.
Hope you can figure it out! Don't hesitate to go to the ER if your throat swells or you have any trouble breathing. You could even try an Urgent Care if you feel your life is not in danger but you need help.
Also .. be sure to take doxy in the MIDDLE of a full meal and do not lie down for 45-60 minutes after taking it.

My LLMD had started me on sublingual allergy drops also about two weeks ago. I wonder if that could be the cause of my rash and not the other medications.

Sounds like it could be a pretty severe allergy starting. You should have a doctor actually see you if you haven't already.
It would be great if your Lyme doc lived nearby and could quick see you. Maybe he did? But a phone call in a situation like this is not enough.
You should also stop taking/ using all newer supplements, meds, soaps, lotions... Anything that touches your skin!
When you stop these things, you cannot randomly restart them again, back and forth. Or the rash might not go away!
It can take months for the rash to go away if it is a drug reaction. If it is an allergy, some can go away quickly when you stop the med, some rashes can be more chronic and take longer.
That's why you need to be careful not to reexpose yourself. You don't want to restart the reaction.
Also, some drugs like doxy cause a reaction in the body in response to the sun. If you might possibly have that, you must avoid the sun. Stay away from windows when possible. Cover your body completely. Wear sunscreend.
Your doctor can do skin punch biopsy and labs to help figure out what is wrong if you stop the new med/ meds & supplements and the rash doesn't start to get better. Or it gets worse.
That happened to me this past summer. I stopped doxy on suspicion of a doxy sun reaction even though I was NOT in the sun. I was outside in the shade.
Rash continued to get worse. Looked all kinds of weird. Derm took a skin punch biopsy, results were mixed, rule out possible photo sensitivity reaction or possible autoimmune disorder.
I was already avoiding the sun. Was tested for autoimmune, neg. still getting worse.
Then noticed in a pic taken a couple weeks earlier that I had a prominent perfect bullseye rash on my Right arm! How did no one notice it, I don't know.
So, looks like I got reinfected by another tick. Lyme flared majorly for me. Still have that bullseye on my arm and it's been almost 3.5- 4 months since I sat outside...
So rashes are not easy. They are not always what they seem. You need to work with a local doc that can see you in person and keep your LLMD updated so that your treatment can be adjusted appropriately.
I'm now back on antibiotics because it's been proven that my rash was from active infection.
Don't ignore your rash, they are a sign of something more...
