I had blood drawn for a test on Saturday. The lab technician was not able to get the blood to flow because it was clotting. He said I was dehydrated and to go home, drink a bunch of water and come back Monday.
I found this strange because I drink at least 100 ounces of water a day, but drank extra water anyway and went back yesterday to try again.
My blood is still clotting. They had to try 3 veins to get enough blood for the sample. Does Zithromax cause this? I had been taking it for about a month. I am also taking Rifampin and Alinia. I never had this problem before.
I called my LLMD and he said he had not heard of Zithromax causing this. I also have mild QT prolongation that I had before starting meds. I had been noticing some irregular heartbeats on the Zithromax, but nowhere near as bad as the heart symptoms I had years ago before a cardiac ablation, so did not worry about it.
So is this something I should be worried about? I have to have something to pair with the Rifampin for Bartonella. I am very allergic to doxycycline.

I just talked to my pharmacist and he said it was most likely the Rifampin causing the clotting. Now I don't know how I am going to treat Bartonella. I am very allergic to doxycycline, and no way am I taking Levaquin with my severe neuropathy. I was allergic to minocycline too.
I am taking digestive enzymes, but I was taking protease and currently Zymex II for parasites. It has bromelain and papain. I will try the serrapeptase or lubrokinase. I am not sure about the heparin.
