I know that you are not supposed to, and I understand why. I wonder about doing it though, because I want to "kick the Babesia (spell check was changing it to "Babes!") to the the curb."
I am about to do another round of Coartem, starting tomorrow. But I don't think it's wise to do the grapefruit juice with it now, because I've been off all TBD treatment for a little over 2 months now!
That wasn't my intent, but I had a bad case of Candida that I was trying to get over. But I realized that the main reason the Candida was so bad is that ever since I developed the Complex Regional Pain
Syndrome/ Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and had to take Neurontin, and now, Lyrica instead, my whole elimination system has shut down & isn't coming back no matter what I do!
I only took the Neurontin now the Lyrica, at night, but that was the start of the gastroparesis, which doesn't improve much no matter what I do---very worrisome.
Well, now I inadvertently switched topics. I know what to do for the severe constipation, but it takes a ton of magnesium, herbs, etc. to turn it around. Stuff like prune juice does nothing at all. Arghh!
Anyway, I'll wait until I've been back on treatment before I try that another time. Sigh.

Hi rumigirl ..following u...the grapefruit juice has to do with liver detox via cytochrome p450 and that is main clearance clarence mechanism for most drugs ..maybe why gse is effective in cyst formation. ..as for the elimination i have resorted to old school castor oil and lots of coconut..have you tried monolaurin and sf722 and or nystatin/diflucan ...?
