Have had this off and on over the last few years, but since starting pharmaceutical parasite treatment, I've noticed my ears pop/clear/unpressurize constantly. Occasionally there's pain, as well.
Does anyone have this or know what causes it? The pain is manageable, as is the popping, but both are things I would like to get rid of. Does it go away? As of now it's only gotten worse with treatment.

Yikes, why would you combine thieves oil and DMSO?
DMSO is good at dissolving compounds and penetrating the skin. Why would you want the constituents in thieves oil (Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary essential oils) to absorb into your body's cells?
I remember reading about the guy who spilled DMSO onto his blue jeans, and his leg was permanently dyed blue at that spot.

Paleogal, is there any way you could get someone to examine your ears with an otoscope? It sounds like you might have fluid behind the ear drum.
I had this many years ago, intermittent inflammation of the inner ear, with fullness, popping, and pain. My doctor could see fluid behind the eardrum, and prescribed decongestants.
Decongestants would work, I'd taper off of them, and then a week later it would be back. After five months of this rigamarole I couldn't hear out of that ear, and the headache was just horrible. I can see why babies with ear infections scream in pain!
My doctor gave me one week's worth of cortisone, a high dose that tapered down to almost nothing, and it was a spectacular success.
My ear healed, my aches and pains went away, and for the first time in years my severe headaches stopped. Except for the stomach upset from the med, I felt wonderful.
This was way before I knew about Lyme, although looking back, I can see that I was having many symptoms.
If you have fluid behind the ear drum, your doc may want you to try decongestants.

- Cell Salt Kali Mur 6x is for whitish fluid behind the eardrum. It is also the remedy of choice to help alleviate pressure in the ears while flying even if you don't have fluid in the ear.
- When parasites die they emit ammonia and that is why a brain cloud could arise. The amino acid ornithine soaks the ammonia up as it can cross the blood brain barrier. If ornithine works then you know it was the dying parasites off-gassing.
- Carol in PA says "I can see why babies with ear infections scream in pain!" (they feel very cross)
"If" you ever did feel this way then the homeopathic remedy would be Chamomilla 30c.
- Your ears sound like they are off gassing or draining and I don't know if this sounds interesting or helpful. It's your call. You could try heat treatment. I find this really helpful I bought a heat lamp, 250 watt from Home Depot and put it into a floor goose neck lamp and shine the light on the area that needs thermal treatment.

The crazy logic is that the constituants of thr thieves might kill or chase what ever pathogens from the nerves of my ears..
essential oils are used as treatment by some ...i have had a swollen lymph node behind my ear for a long while and the water sound for even longer ..i will try to get lookups homepathic remedy and try decongestants.
Steroids does not sound like a good idea ...also i have blown out my eardrum apparently somewhere down the road ..ent wanted a mri with dye before dx or treatment

bluelyme- in Germany our pediatrician would have us do heat lamp treatment on our child's ear who had water behind the eardrum.
We shone the light on the ear and behind the ear and milked the lymph starting low on the neck and working up to behind the ear. If we were in the States they would have put tubes in. It worked really well!
The globes can be bought at Home Depot for 10 dollars.
Tea tree oil works good too as you probably already know.
Always something fun to do

There are quite a few remedies for unusual sounds being heard in the ears.
Examples:
Ears, OPENING, and closing, sensation, like a valve 6 remedies
Ears, OPENING, sensation of, through which the air penetrates on opening and closing the mouth 1 remedy
Ears, SWELLING, lymphatic glands 4 remedies
So, kali mur is not actually in any of those rubrics but it is in the rubric below and other rubrics that deal with pressure in the ear (along with 5 other remedies). There are pages and pages of remedies for ear maladies.
Ear, PAIN, water, in the ear Kali mur (along with another remedy)
Cell Salts are rather harmless and inexpensive.
I agree with you to go after the reason of why this water is being generated.

- While you sort out all the good replies above, it might help to irrigate your nasal passages with a good SEA SALT spray with XYLITOL.
Blow nose GENTLY, though, ONLY very gently.
This kind of bottle / pump is best so it does not draw back into the bottle stuff from nose as many other kind of spray bottles can do.

paleogal- It sounds like you are having some profitable die-off results with the medication.
We have had some good experience with Rife frequency 72 and 120 for parasites in the head, especially with 72 hz. Everybody is different though...

I am not advocating the use of steroids, I am just relating my experience.
The reason they cleared up my ear and made me feel so much better is because they reduce inflammation and swelling. My symptoms of headache and joint and body pain resumed after I stopped the med, but it was great to have a week's "vacation."
Several years after this, I found out about systemic enzymes, which also reduce inflammation.
Wobenzym, an enzyme blend, reduced my headache and body pain. It also cleared up the sinus infections, as the reduction in fibrin meant that the mucous was thinned out and the sinuses didn't clog up.

Just throwing this out... Could the popping and progressive pain be TMJ related? It just came to mind immediately when I read your post.

I had the frequent popping in one ear several years ago. I also had swelling in that same area. What I did was put some vegetable oil on my hand, then put a couple of drops of oregano oil on it and mixed with my fingers, then I rubbed that on the swollen area. I also dropped some tea tree oil in that ear. My symptoms are very alleviated from doing this but I still regularly have some lesser swelling.
