Hello everyone,

I was just recently diagnosed with lyme and am starting to examine everything that seems even a little bit different about my body and how I feel.

The latest thing would be acne. To be honest, I don't even know if it is acne bc they are more like bumps. They first appeared on my back and now they I have a couple of these bumps on my face.

Is this all a part of lyme?

Welcome Stefi,

Can you tell us if you've started treatment yet?

Welcome stefi, i hope you are seeing a llmd ..regular docs are useless...and yes all the skin stuff i brushed off for years i believe were bartonella related..or even lyme reducing immunity to let staph in .

they call it hs ...i had it cultured and it was staph lugdunensis..even dermatology wanted me on humira ,a immunosuppressive biological. ..oil of oregano ,thieves oil topically ..l lysine for cold sores .

Acne or bumps? Hard to say, sorry! It could be bartonella related. As Blue said it can mess with the skin in different ways.

My thought was it could be toxins if you'd recently started treatment, but since you haven't, "acne or bumps" doesn't give me enough to go on.

Hopefully when you start treatment they will improve! Good luck!!
