Anybody have liver lesions? I have what a liver surgeon is calling "giant" hemangiomas, but he is not sure they are hemangiomas. The largest one is 10.5 cm. I am wondering about peliosis hepatis. Does anyone have this? Does peliosis heptais go away with treatment? So far it is not getting smaller. The liver specialist was not familiar with infections like Bartonella.

Rochalimaea henselae is thought to cause Cat Scratch fever, like Bartonella henselae.
In this study- hard to break down in simpler terms for me- it appears Bartonella could be related to bacillary peliosis of the liver and spleen.
Quote- "We report the immunocytochemical identification of Rochalimaea henselae, a newly recognized fastidious, Gram-negative, Warthin-Starry-positive organism, as the common pathogen in bacillary angiomatosis (BA), bacillary peliosis (BP) of the liver and spleen, and persistent fever with bacteremia in immunocompromised patients."
Quote- "Peliosis hepatis is a vasculoproliferative disorder of the liver with infectious and noninfectious causes. In humans and dogs, Bartonella henselae has been linked to peliosis hepatis."
If it will help, ask your doctor to contact our Bartonella research expert Dr. Breitschwerdt in NC. Here are some of his studies. I don't understand your situation enough to make good connections, but hoping this may help.

I have tested for parasites. The tests were negative. However, when I started treating with antiparasitic herbs and albendazole, I saw parasites come out. I'm not sure if any of them were liver flukes. Saw different sizes and shapes of things.

Most people here treating lyme and candida have a problems with the liver and gall bladder. It's not only you...
I hope you find some help, it's no fun dealing with that on top of lyme.
My liver needed lots of homeopathics, acupressure /tapping, milk thistle and other bitter herbs (I can get you the name of them, if you'd like). But still, the liver was not fine.
Lots of stress from die off toxins, I suppose?
Every one here treating chronic lyme have their livers stressed...
What has helped me most is the violet ray (a high frequency device).

What about Ehrlichia? It makes lesions all over with a really small bacterial load. When it goes chronic it won't just disappear with 28 days of doxy.

I'm watching health summits these days and there is a detox summit starting Sept. 26 if you are interested. It will undoubtedly cover liver detox.
